Ottawa Invest - Futureproof Program

• Invest Ottawa The Future Proof program is designed to assist small business owners to become e-commerce enabled 
  and are part of the Digital Main Street initiative.
   
• Duties included:
  Act as a subject matter expert for conceptual and technical design, development, and
  implementation
   
• Work on a wide variety of projects, including , editing photos, logos, designing various social media
  templates, infographics, branding guides, and other marketing documents

Government of Canada - ESDC - Gatineau

• Junior Designer

• Worked at Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) as their junior designer as part of my co-op placement
   
• Used designs skills to turn departments data and research into visually appealing graphs and charts, often using the departments colours.
   
• Working on the ESDC website renewal plan, by creating style guides, icon recreations, style tiles, mood boards, colour theory
   
• Created a thorough proposal on the ESDC website renewal, listing areas that needed to be improved upon, how to improve it, broken links and accessibility issues, colour theory research, and listing website pages importance.
   
• Developed a directory on ESDC websites accessibility for each individual page, listing if the page is accessible or not, and communicating needed updates and changes to be made.
   
• Consulted with senior staff and management to create graphics for briefing materials, department meetings, and events such as the Executive Retreat, etc.
